A select group of outstanding students has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Adelphi University. Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education, Business, Nursing, Social Work and Psychology recognize superior academic work every semester. The Dean's List comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least 9 graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

Incoming first-year students are among 46 students conducting research in the natural sciences alongside faculty mentors this summer at Lebanon Valley College.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees for nearly 1,300 students for the Spring 2019 semester. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees following the spring 2019 semester. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honors distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Students listed multiple times have been awarded more than one degree.

Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List. The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2019 semester.

Six Lebanon Valley College athletic training students recently completed Perspectives from Traditional Chinese Medicine, a 10-day study abroad experience in Shanghai and Beijing. The trip included attendance at the Asia Pacific Conference for Certified Athletic Trainers in Shanghai and courses at Beijing Sport University.

Thirty-one Lebanon Valley College students are spending part of their summer break studying away as part of the College's study abroad program, which includes 12 foreign countries and two stateside internship opportunities.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania congratulates the nearly 1,900 students who were named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List. Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity-level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the spring 2019 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Lebanon Valley College congratulates more than 650 students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 1,750 students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Lebanon Valley College celebrated 17 legacy graduates who received their degrees during the 150th Commencement on Saturday, May 11. Legacy graduates have at least one parent who had previously graduated from the College.

The Dean's List recognizes students who have earned a grade point average of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

Lebanon Valley College recognized 20 Gold Community Service Award recipients, who have served more than 100 hours, and have completed a multi-day residential service project. Students who completed 250 hours of service or more also received a gold award.

Lebanon Valley College presented more than 130 students with awards at the Spring Awards and Recognition Ceremony for academic achievement in the natural sciences, social sciences, or humanities during the annual Inquiry celebration. Students were also recognized with campus awards.

Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College students representing academic departments across campus displayed their academic and creative work to an audience of faculty, peers, trustees, administrators, industry representatives, and friends of the College during the annual Inquiry Symposium.

Conference Services Assistants report to the Director of Conference Services and live on campus for the summer. They provide quality and efficient customer service to guests who may be on campus for a day or several weeks. Their responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of all guests, facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs, assisting with move-outs and damage assessments, communicating and enforcing conference policies, working at campus events, and acting as a liaison between guests and Conference Services.

Fifteen students and two staff members from Lebanon Valley College traveled to Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic to work with Outreach360, an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to underserved children in Latin America.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites. This year they traveled to Athens, Greece.

The Lebanon Valley College Concert Choir proudly announces its 83rd annual spring tour from March 17-24. Conducted by Dr. Kyle Zeuch, the 60-member ensemble will give multiple concert performances in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
